Halvas with semolina

(Χαλβάς με συμιγδάλι)

Refined sugar free recipe with homemade date paste. Perfect dessert option for those fasting or following a vegan diet!

Ingredients

  1. 1/2 cup vegetable oil

  2. 2 cups semolina

  3. 100gr chopped almonds (no skin)

  4. 1 tbsp cinamon

  5. 400gr dates (blend them in 1 cup of warm water to soften the dates and make a paste)

  6. 30gr raisins

  7. 3 cups of warm water
